A 15-month-old baby died after a fire in Ballymun flats in Dublin yesterday evening. Gardai said the baby's mother, who was in the sixth-floor apartment, escaped injury. Gardai could not say yesterday evening how the fire started. The names of the mother and baby were not being released.
