The three-dimensional print works by Andrew Folan, exceptional for their technical virtuosity and striking visualisation, which won him the Print Award at the Iontas Annual Small Works Exhibition. The show attracted a record level of 600 entrants. These were whittled down by a jury who also selected the eight award winners. Besides Andrew Folan, they are Paul Wilson, Michael McSwiney, Michael Wann, Ciaran Barra Cronin, Sarah O'Flaherty, Sharon Carroll and Sally Maidment. Iontas continues at the Sligo Art Gallery until July 26th and then travels on to Belfast's Ormeau Baths Gallery and the Limerick Art Gallery.
