Armed robbers raid Inchicore post office

Cash has been stolen from a Dublin post office in an armed robbery this morning.

Cash has been stolen from a Dublin post office in an armed robbery this morning.

Two raiders held up staff at Inchicore Post Office on Emmet Road shortly before 8.30 a.m. No shots were fired and no one was injured during the raid.

The raiders escaped in a stolen blue Opel car that was later found abandoned at St. Laurence's Road, Chapelizod.
