Appeal made for witnesses to Finglas attacks

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to separate incidents in Finglas yesterday morning that hospitalised two teenagers.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to separate incidents in Finglas yesterday morning that hospitalised two teenagers.

The first incident left an 18-year-old youth is in Beaumont Hospital with severe head injuries.

Gardaí are also appealing for witnesses to an assault on a 15-year-old boy on Cappagh Road around 1.00 a.m. yesterday morning.

The youth was attacked by a gang and is now recovering in Blanchardstown Hospital with a punctured lung. It is believed he was stabbed.

Gardaí want to speak to anyone who was in the area around St Canice's Church or Finglas village between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m.
