Gardai in Limerick have warned people to watch out for a bogus lottery letter telling them they have won 1.3 million Australian dollars. The warning was issued after complaints from people in the Mayorstone area who received the bogus letter.
The letter claims to be from members of a Canadian firm which enters respondents in the Australian lottery.
The letter asks for permission to enter the person in the lottery on a regular basis and for their credit card number.
