London - Yoko Ono spoke yesterday of her pride at the renaming of Liverpool's airport in memory of Beatle John Lennon, one of the British city's most famous sons.
The late Beatle's widow unveiled the airport's new logo which features a cartoon self-portrait of Lennon and the words "Above us only sky", taken from his hit Imagine. "I was honoured and delighted when I first heard of the proposal to name the airport here in Liverpool after John," she said in statement.
