We stayed at Eilean Iarmain Isle Ornsay Hotel (01471-833 332), a beautiful 19th century inn located in a wide bay with views to Knoydart, a wild peninsula accessible only by boat or a (literally) breathtaking mountain hike. The hotel forms part of a small group of historic buildings dating from 1800, and is one of several establishments to win the AA Romantic Hotel of Britain and Ireland Award.
