Over £3,000 worth of wine, spirits and beer was seized by gardai in four separate raids on restaurants and hotels which were operating without licences in Cork yesterday.
Gardai raided three restaurants in Cork city and seized swine and spirits. They were joined by a Customs and Excise official when they seized spirits and beer from a hotel in Kinsale.
A Garda spokesman confirmed that a file was being prepared for the DPP on the matter.
