Two men in their 30s will appear at a special sitting of Galway District Court later today charged in relation to a drug seizure near Loughrea.
An estimated €1.1 million worth of cannabis was seized in a house at in the town yesterday afternoon following a raid involving ardaí and customs officers.
The search was part of an ongoing operation in the Galway area.
The men were arrested and brought to Mill St Garda station in the city under Section 2 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
