This Saturday, we’ll publish the winners of the Best Shops in Ireland 2013. Before that, we want to introduce you to some of the shortlisted shops. The second in this series is from gentlemen’s outfitters Patrick Sheary Menswear, on Dublin’s Clarendon Street. It looks like it has been in situ for generations but the shop is just one year old.
Sheary started selling suits out the back of a van, graduated to a space in a car showroom before securing an upstairs room at number 33 Clarendon Street. Twelve months ago he got his shop window.
Sheary nips every suit to fit like a glove and seals every sale with a bear hug turning customers into friends who consider his shop as their own private club house.
