The village is about 48 miles (76kms) from the M50 while the two principle routes down from the capital are either the N11 via Gorey, or the N81 through Blessington.

Clonegal, which is built on the banks of the Derry river, can trace its history back to the bronze age and was once an important crossroads where routes from the midlands and Kildare met. Although the village is in Co Carlow, crossing its old bridge takes you into Co Wexford while the Co Wicklow border is about 1.5kms away.

Developed by Baynefield Ltd, showhouses should be ready for inspection by the end of September.
