The Doyle Hotel Group is understood to have secured in excess of £2 million for an industrial building, Ballymoss House, in Sandyford Industrial Estate in south Dublin. The sale was handled by Hamilton Osborne King. The new owner, David Arnold, is seeking planning permission to demolish the 15-yearold building and replace it with high tech accommodation with a gross area of 67,000 sq ft and 171 car-parking spaces at basement and surface level.
The new four-storey building will have a high specification and is likely to appeal mainly to tele-marketing or data processing companies. It is likely to have an end value of around £16 million.
