As part of a restructuring of our print and digital offering, we are expanding our digital advertising media solutions department. This will help streamline our sales process for new and existing Irish Times clients. We are growing our team to sell multiple, effective, results driven solutions for brands and agencies and would like to recruit for the following positions.
Digital Sales Strategists to work alongside our Head of Digital Sales Solutions to develop sales opportunities including our native advertising offering. This post will play a central role in the development of future sales propositions across The Irish Times. The successful applicant will have a strong track record in Account Management and demonstrate an innate enthusiasm for digital sales. The role requires someone who is commercially driven with the ability to develop and deliver effective media solutions for our clients.
Senior Account Managers who have a thorough understanding of the business to business market, with an extensive senior business network and track record of dealing with and presenting at senior level. The successful candidate will be required to identify new business opportunities while growing existing revenue streams. The ability to cultivate relationships and partnerships at a senior level within corporate organisations is key to the success of the position.
Programmatic Operations Manager who can demonstrate effective optimisation of campaigns to deliver results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who has a strong understanding of programmatic, while managing and growing revenues. The qualified individual must be highly analytical, with hands-on experience with Supply Side Platforms, Demand Supply Platforms, Adserving and associated technologies while also demonstrating experience of negotiating and establishing agreements with existing and new demand side partners.
A Publishing Executive who will be tasked with co-ordinating all content related commercial projects between the sales and editorial departments. Strong social media, analytical and organisational skills are key requirements for the role. The role is suited to those with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task projects, working with the relevant sales team to meet strict deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both client services and the Business to Business environment.

The commercial graduate programme is aimed at ambitious individuals who have a strong interest in the media landscape in Ireland. There will be four rotating placements during the programme in different business units, which involve both individual and group project work.

MyHome.ie - Senior .NET Developer
MyHome.ie is Ireland's leading advertiser of residential property on the web and part of The Irish Times group. The award-winning website includes property listings from most of the leading estate agents nationwide.
We are currently seeking to recruit a suitably qualified individual for the role of Senior.NET Developer to work as part of the MyHome.ie development team, building new and maintaining existing products. The MyHome.ie system consists of two main elements, the front-end website (with over 20 million pageviews per month) and the back-end Property Manager system (used by over 500 estate agents).
The successful candidate will work closely with the MyHome.ie management team. He/she will play a pivotal role in the technical direction of the MyHome.ie platform and product set. The role will also involve working with the Irish Times group on the development of new products.
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing public facing, dynamic, database driven websites. Proven experience in the following technologies is expected:
