Wear It Out: Fill up your backpack, get a look that’s easy and cool and head out for the day

This week, we meet Hope Higgins for a look at her summer weekend outfit. It’s perfect for a comfortable weekend day out – colourful and funky and great for a long day out in the sun.

Backpack: Backpacks are the summer must-have bag. You can head out for the day and fit everything you need into it. With your bag on your back you can be carefree and not laden down. Shorts: Who likes short shorts? These are not for the faint of heart. The shortest of shorts but really cute and great with the oversized shirt. Dress them down with a pair of runners and they totally work. They will also be great at the poolside on your holliers. Shirt: The 1990s blouse will be your purchase of the summer. Oversized, they will work on everyone. They are are one-off pieces so your best mate won't turn up in the same one and they can be worn open like a summer jacket or closed with a pair of jeans for when it is a bit more chilly.
