‘My outfit is based on my love for old-world Latin America. Think clean-cut Cuban’

This week we meet Jake McCabe, a graphic designer based in Dublin. Jake has such a unique style and always mixes it up when it comes to fashion. His look can change drastically from day to day and is always carefully curated. Jake’s talented eye for design can be seen clearly in his personal style. Jake is working freelance right now on design and content creation. He works with different personalities and brands to bring their stories to life through social media. Tell us about your outfit?

My outfit today is based on my love for old-world Latin America. Think clean-cut Cuban.

I’m wearing a rusty red 1970’s Farah poly over-shirt with a pair of stone cutoffs from Penneys, a white shirt from River Island with grey suede basket weave tassel loafers and topped off with a vintage Major UK grey felt hat.

How would you describe your personal style?

My style is a mish-mash and hard to define. It takes influence from 60’s British mods and skinheads, for their aggressive style, and mixed with some Italian flair for those clean tailored lines and a healthy dose of old world Americana.

What was the highlight of your summer?

Hands down it was Sea Sessions. I spent four days with my closest friends in beautiful Bundoran, surfing, skating, with great food and cold beers. Couldn’t ask for more.
