A man in his fifties has died following a car crash in Co Offaly.
Gardai said the single-vehicle collision occurred just after midday on Monday in Daingean.
The sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead a short time after the incident.
The road at Killaderry was closed for technical examination by garda forensic collision investigators but was later reopened.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward, particularly anyone who may have camera footage from the area at the time.
