LIVING HISTORY

The Navan Centre in Armagh has an Irish Age Living History festival running today, recreating Iron Age life. Visitors can test their strength, tell stories, feast and dance, just as their ancient brethren might have. The event runs from 11am to 5pm. www.navan.com

CARRICK-ON-SHANNON REGATTA FESTIVAL

A new exhibition aims to explore the physics of foams and bubbles, and has been developed in collaboration with leading physicists.
