LIMERICK auctioneer John Dunphy will be conducting a sale at his Henry Street premises next Tuesday, beginning at 11 a.m., when a number of interesting items will come up, not least of which is a handsome 18th century Irish silver table (estimate, £2,000-£3,000). This will probably make the day's best price, but other good pieces include an Irish Regency Cork secretaire bookcase (estimate, £1,800-£2,000), an Edwardian inlaid seven-piece drawing room suite (£1,500-£2,000) and from the same period an inlaid mahogany display cabinet (£1,400-£1,800).

Also in the same auction is a Victorian extending dining table (£1,000-£1,500), a set of six Victorian mahogany dining chairs (£800-£1,000), an 18th century chest-on-chest (£700-£1,000) a pair of continental gilt armchairs and an Edwardian inlaid mahogany bureau bookcase (both £600-£900).
