in Dublin for his first show here in five years.

Norwegian producer Hans-Peter Lindstrom earned his cosmic disco spurs with a smashing series of epic widescreen tracks, often in collaboration with fellow traveller Prins Thomas.

Leave aside his roots as a country and western fan while growing up in Norwegian oil town Stavanger and dalliances with a Deep Purple tribute act: Lindstrom’s calling card is a sound that is instantly and indelibly his own. As he has shown with releases for his Feedelity label and a slew of remixes, Lindstrom can turn that idiosyncratic blend of prime-time funk, disco and cosmic boogie into fantastic, spun-out magnetic grooves capable of rocking any club with consummate ease.
