Want to inhabit an iconic dwelling from 1980s cinema? Well, two very different options are currently before you. The building that served as the exterior for Uncle Monty's cottage in Withnail and Iis back on the market. The sale of Sleddale Hall in Cumbria was agreed earlier this year, but the potential buyers have had trouble digging up £260,000 (€300,000) for Monty's "horrible little shack".
If your sights are set a bit higher you may be interested in buying Frank Lloyd Wright's historic Ennis House in Los Angeles, which featured prominently in Blade Runner. Despite being in poor repair, it will still set you back somewhere in the region of $15 million (€11 million). Hell, you could get a new house for that.
