The Eye of Judgment Legends

REVIEW:(12 cert, SCEE, PSP). Turn-based strategy games aren't everyone's cup of tea, but the PSP version of The Eye of Judgment Legendscould be a compelling game, given half the chance.

You take on the role of a wizard tasked with saving the world. Sounds familiar, but rather than hacking and slashing your way through the levels, this game requires you to use strategy via a deck of cards that you play to unleash spells and characters on your enemies. The ultimate goal is to face the leader of the Biolith, Lord Scion. Your battlefield is a nine-square board where your cards will be laid out. The digital cards can be traded wirelessly with friends or earned by playing the game.

Judgmentis somewhat complicated. For example, how you build your deck could affect your chances of advancing in the game. Learning how to deploy your cards in the most effective manner is a skill that will take some time. But persevering is worth it.
