All Zombies Must Die!

The undead monsters from All Zombies Must Die!occupy a strange middle ground, and not just between death and life. They're not quite as adorable as the villains in Plants vs Zombies, nor are they as horrific as the creatures in Left 4 Dead. In this top-down, third-person shooter, you play Jack (resembling Johnny Steakfries from the similar Age of Zombies). Slogging your way through an army of the undead, you're tasked with shooting them in the face while tactically preparing your stronghold for their attacks. You use conventional weapons (guns, bats), as well as the environment to take down these monsters: they don't like police sirens or fire, for example. This isn't the most original game but, coated in cute, cartoonish graphics (especially considering how bloody it is), it is self-aware, user-friendly and fun. You can customise your character (choosing strength, say, over speed), and there's multiplayer local co-op. And if there's one thing that zombie games teach, it's the importance of teamwork!
