Forget what you know about previous AVP titles – the latest installment starts from scratch. Rebelliongives the option to control a marine, an alien or a predator in three different campaigns. Choose to be humanity's last stand as the colonial Marine; take on the role of murderous, agile Alien; or go for the gore with the Predator.

Melee-based attacks are a key part of the gameplay, but each campaign requires different skills. As the Predator, stealth is key for attacking, while the Alien utilises its speed to defeat enemies. The weakest of the three is the Marine, which is a little bit too run-of-the-mill.

Once again, the addition of the multiplayer option saves what would otherwise be a short, if intense, campaign- based game. A three-way multiplayer allows you to pit the three species against each other in a battle for survival. An atmospheric outing.
