Silver and porcelain at Newman House
Forty dealers specialising in collectable items will be taking space at tomorrow's antiques fair in Newman House, Dublin. According to the event's organisers, the emphasis will be on silver and porcelain; among the latter is a 21-piece Clarice Cliff tea service - very much in vogue now - and a selection of Victorian majolica.
Small items of furniture will also be available, such as Victorian brass standard lamps and mahogany wash-stands. In addition, there are to be film posters from the 1950s and 1960s, including Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
