Burmese hero Lucs out

Be afraid. It has been suggested that Luc Besson is to direct a biopic of Aung San Suu Kyi, the courageous Burmese democracy campaigner, starring Michele Yeoh.

There’s nothing wrong with Yeoh, who, though based in Hong Kong, is of Malaysian stock. And that’s close enough for the movies. But Luc Besson? He’s Luc Besson, for Pete’s sake.
