Love is in the Air: Air will release their new album, Love 2, this October. It will be preceded by the single Sing Sang Sungin August.

Heavy soundtrack: Nick Cave and Warren Ellis will collaborate on another soundtrack in the coming months. With the score of The Roadin the bag, the pair will also work on The Girls of Pnomh Penh, a documentary about the Cambodian sex trade.

The inquest: The results of ex-Wilco guitarist Jay Bennetts autopsy were made public this week. According to the coroners report, Bennett died on May 24th from an accidental overdose of prescription drug fentanyl.
