THIS Co Roscommon town comes out in style when it gets down to organising its' annual 12 day arts festival even the shopkeepers dress up their windows for the occasion.

Visual arts enthusiasts must catch this year's main exhibition, which includes work by William Crozier, Vivienne Roche and the late Alexandra Wejchert, shown alongside lesser known artists (at the Convent of Mercy Complex, 10 a.m - 8 p.m. daily).

You'll also be spoilt for choice in the rich selection of classical concerts over the weekend: Guitarist John Feeley at 8.30 p.m. tonight in King House, soprano Julia Canavan and others tomorrow night at 8.30 p.m. in the Church of Ireland church and soprano Cara O'Sullivan on Sunday night at 8.30 a.m. at the same venue. Check out the storytelling evening in Clarke's Bar, St Patrick Street, at 10 p.m. on Saturday.
