Eggington watercolour sold for £1,500
A sum of £1,000 was paid for each of two oil lamps with glass bowls and £1,500 was raised for a Frank Eggington watercolour at a house clearance sale conducted by Stuart Auctioneers of Enniskillen, Co Fermanagh, last month. A Victorian mahogany sideboard fetched £600, a walnut upholstered sofa went under the hammer for £700 and a Victorian mahogany chiffonier and a small Georgian tea table went for £480.
