Shares in semiconductor firm Xilinx, which employs more than 300 people at its research and development facility in Dublin, fell almost 9 per cent yesterday after it issued a profit warning. Xilinx warned year-on-year sales for the first quarter would fall 32 per cent to $277 million, from $407 million in the fourth quarter.
