The ESB is to recruit 1,000 people over the next three years to support the delivery of its strategy to be net zero by 2040.
The group said the move was part of its “transformative drive” to deliver the infrastructure, services and associated customer-focused solutions required to achieve net zero emissions.
It is seeking to enhance its existing talent pool through recruitment across a range of technical and specialist skills including finance, IT, HR, engineering, customer service and qualified electricians.
More than 300 graduates, apprentices and trainees will be recruited over the next three years as part of the recruitment drive.
