A NEW service, which may be of interest to with-profit endowment mortgage holders is being offered by business and financial advisers Gunn Robinson O'Higgins of Stillorgan. For a fee of £10 the company will review your with-profit endowment to see if it has sufficient funds to repay your mortgage at maturity.

According to Mr John Gilmartin, "we will produce a small report which will highlight three possibilities, bonuses remaining constant, bonuses reducing by 10 per cent and bonuses reducing by 25 per cent. This should give the client enough information regarding the likelihood of their policy being able to repay their mortgage." The report is based on the bonus payable.
