Kerry-based payments and outsourcing group Fexco has won a contract from Aer Lingus to provide it with call centre services in a move that will create 25 jobs at its contact centre in Cahirciveen.
The contract was won following a tendering process and will run until January 2015. It was previously held by US-based Stream Global Services.
Ger O’Sullivan, Fexco’s head of business services, said the company would service Aer Lingus’s “overflow call centre services requirements”.
Andrew Cornish, Aer Lingus’s chief customer and brand officer, said Fexco was selected because of its “established track record in providing call centre services” at “cost-effective rates”. Fexco already provides Aer Lingus with currency conversion services.
