Belfast-based start-up WorldDesk has reached a purchase agreement with virtualisation software company DeskStream for an undisclosed sum. The announcement was made at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this week.
WorldDesk was established in 2010 by Jonathan Chesney and Claire Moore. The company has created a cloud-based workspace delivery platform that is built on popular storage system Dropbox. Current employees of WorldDesk will join DeskStream and the business will continue at its current Belfast base.
