"You never go to business conferences because they are irrelevant and boring. ISME isn't." Or so goes the invitation from the small business lobby group to its annual conference, being held in Killarney on November 28th.Entitled "Celtic Tiger - Fact or Fantasy", most speakers will get only five minutes. Among the speakers braving the small business representatives will be semi-state representatives Dan Flinter of Forbairt, Oliver Tattan of the Trade Board and John Lynch of FAS.Tradition suggests they could face stern questioning from the floor. The Great Debate will be on EMU. And the Margin is intrigued by the topic for the post-conference dinner. "Revealed - Who stole whose clothes." Now the Margin wonders what that is about.
