SILVERMINES has paid a total of £10.2 million sterling for Continental Microwave Group (CMG). The acquisition, announced last October, was to be based on an assessment of its net asset with a maximum payment of £14 million. The actual payment is at the lower end of expectations.

CMG is a British broadcasting television equipment company. The acquisition is being funded by a placing and open offer of new Silvermines shares.
