MR Brian Chilver, chairman of Seafield, waived £65,000 sterling of his basic £120,000 remuneration in 1995, according to the group's annual report. The amount he received came to £55,000, down from £61,000 in 1994.

Mr Lyle Noble, managing director, received a basic remuneration of £69,000 in 1995. Other emoluments amounted to £5,000. Seafield incurred a pre-tax loss of £3.8 million in 1995, compared with a profit of £190,000 in 1994.
