Sale of Mackie division

The receivers of Mackie have sold the automatic temperature controls division (ATV) to a management buy-out team, for an undisclosed consideration. Mr Tom Keenan, joint administrative receiver, said "a number of parties were interested in the business and management's offer was the most attractive in that it secures the jobs of all that division". The offer was also the highest, he told The Irish Times.

The receivers are continuing to have negotiations for the remainder of the businesses. Talks are taking place with "several interested parties", the receivers' statement said.
