Four executives will benefit from the sale of payrolls systems company Computer Resources (CRL) to Sage Hibernia, the business solutions company, for £7 million (€8.88 million). Mr Michael Twomey, Ms Therese Twomey, Mr Charles Alken and Mr Robert Ashmore, who each owned 25 per cent of the equity, will each receive £1.75 million. Sage has taken over the payroll and supplies side of Computer Resources's business which has 50 employees while the accounting software side - Pegasus - with 70 employees, stays with the CRL management team. Mr Fin O'Driscoll, Sage general manager, said the acquisition gave it a leading position in the Irish payroll market.
