Ryanair has welcomed a report from the Air Transport Users' Council of the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland, which calls for the breaking-up of the Aer Rianta monopoly and its ultimate privatisation. The council's aim is to promote a national airport policy which encourages competition. It is also seeking improvement of Aer Rianta's airport facilities.
