Ireland-based Internet Certification Institute International (ICII), a body which licenses courseware and provides technical training, is reported to have been bought out by US training company Prosoft. According to internet publication, The Register, Prosoft has acquired all of ICII's shares in a move aimed at helping it to break into the European market.

ICII had been part-owned by Net Guru, one of Prosoft's other acquisitions. The report said Net Guru had formed links in Ireland because of the Government's positive attitude towards IT companies doing business there.
