Form of exercise: A regular bit of five-a-side soccer - "bit" being the key word.

Favourite TV programme: Recently, Channel 4's 1940s House. Favourite radio programme: Eamonn Dunphy's Last Word - anytime I get to go home early enough. I love controversy.

Commuting time: 35 minutes - 20 minutes at 8.30 p.m.

Favourite airline: Aer Lingus, it still has the best staff - for the time being.

Worst thing about travel: The blandness of the whole generic, international, same-everywhere, beige hospitality hotel/plane/ airport/taxi thing.

Favourite pub: Frank Ryan's, on Queen Street on a wet Sunday afternoon. I've moved since but I still miss it.

Favourite restaurant: Locke's in Portobello, it's where I proposed.

How do you spend your free time: If I get a chance, I love to cook. Especially for friends or family. I'm very fussy though, a complete pain in the ass in the kitchen.

Person you admire most: Sinead, of course.
