NNI Advertising Awards to return after four-year absence

The National Newspapers of Ireland (NNI) Advertising Awards are to take place in October 1998, following an absence of four years. The prestigious competition carries a total prize fund of more than £250,000. There will be seven categories for advertisements or campaigns published in NNI titles, which include The Irish Times. Categories include food and drink, retail, financial and consumer services.

A total of £160,000 worth of advertising space to be used in any of the 11 NNI titles will be shared among the wining advertisers. In addition, each category winner will receive £1,000 worth of holiday vouchers with an additional £4,000 to the overall winner.
