More than 5,000 applications have been received for Sharetrack 100, the fantasy share-dealing competition run by The Irish Times in association with Goodbody Stockbrokers.
A final flurry of applicants is expected over the weekend, ahead of the deadline for registration at midnight on Sunday.
Those who have left registration to the last minute will receive no bonus but will be in with a chance to win the overall first prize of £15,000 (€19,000). Second prize will be £7,000 and third prize £3,000.
Weekly winners will be awarded £1,000 and one year's commission-free share dealing through Goodbody's.
