Ireland and Israel have signed a memorandum of understanding regarding industrial co-operation on research and development. The Israeli Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr Ran Cohen, is currently visiting Ireland with a trade delegation and met the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms Harney, to sign the agreement yesterday. Bilateral trade between the two states has grown substantially in recent years.
