Investors could be forgiven for wondering what if anything has changed to ensure that those investing their funds are properly regulated in the fallout from the BRK brokers debacle. Once again, innocent, if somewhat gullible investors, have been left out of pocket as the regulator, the Central Bank spreads its hands and says "Not my fault, honest". Unless regulation is properly addressed and soon by the McDowell committee or someone else, investor confidence will eventually take a hammering . . . and then all the honest brokers will be crying "foul".
