A CORK businessman had no authority to interfere in the business of a Bahamas-based company which owns forestry plantations in three locations in Ireland, Cork Circuit Court was told yesterday.

IPY Land and Agriculture Ltd was granted an order restraining Mr Michael Grimes, of Washington Street West, Cork, and Ms Janet Hough from purporting to act on its behalf, restraining them from communicating with forestry management consultants, Green Belt Ltd, of Virginia, Co Cavan, and with Mr Finbarr Kerrigan, of Rathfarnham, Dublin, and ordering them not to interfere with the company's interests.
