The National Asset Management Agency (Nama) has appointed 15 investment banks, accountancy firms, property brokers and financial companies to advise the State agency on the sale of loans in Europe and the US.

Among the firms appointed to the panel following a tender by the agency include Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, UBS, Ernst and Young, Lazard, Savills, Cantor Fitzgerald and Houlihan Lokey.

Eastdil Secured, which helped the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation sell the US loans of what was formerly Anglo Irish Bank, is also on the panel of advisers.
