THE demand for executives continues to grow, according to the latest survey by HAY-MSL Ireland

THE demand for executives continues to grow, according to the latest survey by HAY-MSL Ireland. The number of advertised positions increased by 12.8 per cent between the second quarter of 1995 and the second quarter of 1996.

The biggest growth rates were in data processing, where the number of advertisements increased from 431 to 604 and in sales and marketing, where the number almost doubled from 64 to 105. The jobs market for engineers was also fairly buoyant, with an increase from 596 to 613. There was a small contraction in the demand for accountants, personnel executives and research and development executives.
