INVESTORS in British media group EMAP yesterday backed their board by overwhelmingly ousting two non executive directors who had publicly opposed changes to its articles of association. Resolutions proposing the removals from the board of Prof Ken Simmonds and Mr Joe Cooke were approved at an extraordinary general meeting.
