Eircom has reminded Telia, the Swedish telecom group, of its legal obligation to sell its 14 per cent stake in Eircom. A spokesman for Eircom would not comment but pressure on Telia is increasing.
Under the shareholders agreement Telia has to sell its stake before the end of August.
